The Bovine Threat

Recently in a suprise twist, Sweedish Officials have placed special guidelines in place to deal with the random cow encounters by sweedish hikers.

Now, I'm no expert, but most of the cows I've seen are docile, non aggressive lifeforms. Other than that piece on City Slickers where they stampeded & the secret level of Diablo 2, I've never seen a truely aggroed cow. I have been to a Rodeo where they were riding Bulls, but these bulls had rubber bands around their balls and were more likely to be upset then easy going.

I'm not going to dog out the swedes for being cautious, after all random cow violence is a threat to all of us. But allowing MSN to openly discuss this issue was most likely a mistake. I've heard that WOTC is going to release the Sweedish Cow Companion manual which will give D20 stats for Cows and Demi-Cows in the D&D universe. This will definately spice up a campaign that is just losing it's flavor
