Fantasy Sports report

Things are going well for the Ft Gratiot Genitals, both the football team and the hockey team.

Barring any Monday Night Football heroics from Steelers QB Ben Roslithisingintstisberger, my Genitals will be 5-0 this season. This week the team racked up 106 points behind Carson Palmer, Shaun Alexander, Steve Smith and the Colts Defense. These players have carried the team all season and continue to do so. Elsewhere, only one undefeated NFL team remains: The Indianapolis Colts. Could this finally be the season where Manning and Dungy finally shed the stigma of being unable to win The Big One? I hope so.

Shaun Alexander has been a constant for the Genitals this season with 574 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns through 5 games.

The Packers finally won a game (52-3 over the Saints) bringing their record to 1-4 and putting them back in contention in the sorry-ass NFC North division. Meanwhile the Bengals finally lost a game (4-1) and the Patriots proved that they aren't ready to be written off yet with a 31-28 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Drew Bledsoe and Terry Glenn came up big as the Cowboys thumped the Eagles 33-10, and the Seahawks finally proved that they can beat the Rams (37-31) after losing to them three times last season.

Meanwhile, the Genitals' fantasy hockey team got off to a solid start this week posting a 10-5-3 mark - good enough for second place in the Zamboni League's complex and brutal scoring system. The team was led by Markus Naslund (4g 1a), Henrik Zetterberg (1g 5a)and
Michael Ryder (2 game-winning goals.) Tampa goaltender John Grahame notched the only goalie win for the Genitals.

Canadiens center Michael Ryder has emerged as a leader for the Genitals hockey team scoring when the game is on the line.

My Pointy Sticks are now 4-1. So far it's an all around great fantasy sports season for Mr Nuts. Still a long way to go though...
