Suprise Attack

There was a new player in one of the longest running tournaments ever last week as "Zhang" joined the Iron Fist Tournament.

Zhang Law, 35 and a ninja from Beijing, is skilled in the arts of jumping combat. This is something that the Tekken Tournament has not seen a great deal of in recent years, but it was definately a welcome addition.

I had a chance to ask Bryan Fury, 31 what he thought about it and he had this to say:

"I hope he nails Kuma next. I don't know why we have to fight animals anyways. I'm a full contact fighter, not a fucking lion tamer. I'm sick and tired of going for a combo and having a fucking dinosaur light me up with a fireball. HUMANS ONLY IN THE TOURNAMENT PLEASE!"

Ling Xiaoyu, 18, was more appalled at the suprise attack nature of the fight. "Nobody say ROUND 1.. FIGHT!!! Him just jump on my Panda!" Ling then ran off crying to her dorm at the Mishima School for the dark arts.

His first match was unscheduled and Zhang suprised his opponent Panda with a bite to the back. Panda KO'd him with a bite to each leg and threw him aside before one of the Mishima Overseers was able to break it up. Zhang was hospitalized.

"It is against tournament rules to fight outside of sanctioned arenas. Zhang Law will be dealt with swiftly," said Heihachi Mishima, 75. "I can't have that kind of anarchy at my school."

It is unclear what exactly is going to happen next.
