Movie Review: The Dukes of Hazzard

I'm nuts in a can because this is my first ever movie review! Now, first and foremost, this movie is only crudely based on the hit television series back in the 80's. The namesakes and charger are there, as are the basic relationships between characters, but say goodbye to any and all personality traits and storylines. Bo is now only moderately intelligent, and Luke is the ladies man of the group.

I have what I like to call a depth threshold. If a movie breaks a certain barrier where I'm supposed to get some subtle detail that defines the entire plotline of the movie, I hate it.

This movie had car chases, high flying stunts, fight scenes, C4 Arrows, hot chicks, and no floating plastic bags (from american beauty fame) whatsoever. The plot was loose enough to not make me anticipate anything. It was like, "Here comes the movie nice and easy, you don't have to do anything, just let it calmly insert itself into your brain." I laughed several times.

I'd reccomend this to anyone with a depth threshold like mine. This movie is absolutely painless. There's no point, just a story.
