Gencon Day 2

Day 2 at Gencon as a day of fun and adventure. I did a few demos. Demos, in a nutshell, are when you have somebody show you a game they’re selling describe the rules, give you a walkthrough and then you either buy it or not depending on how you liked it. I also purchased a pocket simon game! It’s just like the one I had as a kid.

Now, gamers come in all forms. Not just in what they play, but also in where they come from and how old they are. I saw an old lady with a walker moving through the exhibition hall with a four day pass. Simply amazing.

Also present was the current Guinness book of world records champion of house of card construction. I’ll add more pics on this later, but I thought it was very nuts. He doesn’t bend any cards either.

Unfinished, but amazing.

I ended my evening at the poker tournament. While I didn't qualify for the trip to Vegas, I placed in the top 55 out of 325. Not quite as bad as my being blown out in 15 minutes the first night. BC also had a decent game placing in the top 40. Poker is nuts, I'm nuts, I am Poker.

Finally I’ll leave you a link to the home version of one of my least favorite arcade games I’ve ever seen. Watch this.
